CM Russell Museum
The CM Russell Museum is located in the city of Russell. It was founded in 1931 by C. M. Russell. Among the museum's principal responsibilities is the display of the artwork of Great Falls "cowboy artist" Charles Marion Russell, in honor of whom the institution is named. Other items on show at the museum include illustrated letters written by Russell, work supplies used by him, and other things that help visitors better understand Russell's life and working habits.

Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail
The Corps of Discovery observed, "the grandest sight" on June 13, 1805, when they became the first white men to encounter the Great Falls of the Missouri River, which they dubbed "the grandest sight" at the time. By virtue of the fabled expedition's legacy, you can now travel the fabled portage route in its entirety. This geologically significant spring is near Great Falls, Montana, and Giant Springs State Park encompasses the spring and serves as its focal point. Located 60 miles distant in the Little Belt Mountains, its water has a constant temperature of 54 degrees Fahrenheit and is sourced from snowmelt. According to chlorofluorocarbon dating, it takes approximately 26 years for the water to flow underground and then return to the surface at the springs to reach the surface.
