Transportation

The car is usually the preferred way to navigate Forest Hill. Parking is easy, and most properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Interstate 20. In contrast, this part of Forest Hill is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighborhood. Walking is not very practical for property owners in Forest Hill as few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle.

A grocery store is ordinarily reachable within a reasonably short walk from any home in Forest Hill. There are also a few options for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity. When it comes to education, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this area and consequently they can be a long walk away. Furthermore, Forest Hill does not contain any high schools.

Forest Hill is reasonably quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several noisier areas, especially near the railway line or Interstate 20.
