In Northern Woods, roughly one third of dwellings are small apartment buildings, and the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings, single detached homes, and townhouses. This part of Columbus offers mainly three bedroom and two bedroom homes. Roughly two thirds of the population of this neighborhood rent their home and one third are owners. Most of the properties in this part of the city were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s.
