No matter the medium of transportation, it is simple to move around in Coney Island. This area is very transit friendly. The closest rapid transit station, including Coney Island - Stillwell Av Station, Neptune Av Station and W 8 St - NY Aquarium Station with access to the F | Queens Blvd Express/ 6 Av Local Line, D | 6 Avenue Express, Q | Broadway Express and N | Broadway Local Line, is generally relatively close by from the greater part of residences in the neighborhood. There are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. This area is also a very pleasant part of New York for pedestrians; many common errands can be run on foot. Coney Island is quite cycling-friendly since the bicycling network is reasonably comprehensive, and the terrain is flat.
Property buyers will find that wherever their home is located in this neighborhood, primary as well as high schools are nearby. With respect to eating, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in Coney Island.
