The favored way to navigate Poinsettia is very often a car. It is very easy to come across a parking spot, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as Santa Paula Freeway. In contrast, the public transit system in Poinsettia is not very convenient. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and it is easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is impractical for people traveling on foot to move around in this part of Ventura since many daily needs are inconvenient to carry out without the use of a car.
Some, but not all, house buyers in Poinsettia will live within walking distance of the closest grocery store. A limited selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well. As far as education is concerned, locals will value that wherever their property is located in Poinsettia, primary schools are close by. However, there are only a limited number of high schools and therefore they can be a long walk away. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.
People who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Poinsettia. Most areas in this part of the city are quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - however noise can be bothersome around Santa Paula Freeway. Lastly, although Poinsettia does not contain any parks, green spaces are very well-spread out in nearby neighborhoods, resulting in them being easy to access from numerous locations within this area.
In Poinsettia, roughly two thirds of buildings are single detached homes, and the rest of the houses are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings. This part of the city is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 55% of the units in the neighborhood while the rest are rented. This part of Ventura experienced its biggest building boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available housing is from this time period.
